Who is/are myjhobby.com?

We are a couple of Anime Enthusiasts who have succumbed to the hell of collecting toys and collectibles from Japan.

Why did we start myjhobby.com?

As avid collectors ourselves, we know how other collectors feel when they miss out on certain items and are unable to obtain them to complete their collection. With this as our goal, we are here to provide an alternative source for collectors and provide a personalized service in contrast to the large scale toy stores.

When did we start myjhobby.com?

We started operations in August of 2010 and ran up to 2013. We resumed providing service in August of 2017.

Take note that we are very decided on the prices of our products so we will not entertain last price questions. If you are looking for a more cheaper alternative, you may want to wait for a sale or take advantage of the different membership benefits.


How do I place an order?
  1. You can create an account on our site and make an order via the product page. This will not only make tracking your order easier but this will also give you promotional discounts for that is only for shop members. (Recommended)
  2. You can send us an email with your name and the item you are interested in.

After we receive your order, we will contact you to confirm if the item is still available and have some discussion about payment and delivery.

How do I place a reservation?
  • We will only allow reservations without downpayment within the span of 3 days. If no payment is made after the said period, the item will already be available for others. A reservation from the same person will no longer be accepted.
  • You will be responsible in keeping track of the three (3) day period allocated for your reservation.

Required deposits for reservations are as follow:

  • PHP 100.00 to PHP 499.00 --- PHP 100.00
  • PHP 500.00 to PHP 2,999.00 --- PHP 500.00
  • PHP 3,000.00 to PHP 4,999.00 --- PHP 1,000.00
  • PHP 5,000.00 to PHP 9,999.00 --- PHP 2,000.00
  • PHP 10,000.00 to PHP 14,999.00 --- PHP 3,000.00
  • PHP 15,000.00 and above --- For Discussion

Take note that an item will be kept flagged as reserved only when the reservation fee is confirmed. It is important to keep in mind that reservation will only last for a month. If you failed to complete the payment after the said period. You will implicitly forfeit your right on the item and your reservation fee.


What is a PRE-ORDER?

A PRE-ORDER means that the item is yet to be released or made available by the manufacturer. A release date is available in the product page for your reference.

Take note that the release dates are not susceptible to changes. Feel free to contact us in case you want an update on your order.

How do I place a PRE-ORDER?
  1. You place a PRE-ORDER the same way you make orders on available items. We highly recommend that you create an account though for us to effectively keep track of your orders.
  2. You are required to make a downpayment on the item before we have them secured. The downpayment will be credited to the total item value.

    Take note that FULL payment must be made before the release month and claimed within the span of a month after being notified.

Required deposits for pre-orders are as follow:

  • PHP 100.00 to PHP 499.00 --- PHP 100.00
  • PHP 500.00 to PHP 2,999.00 --- PHP 500.00
  • PHP 3,000.00 to PHP 4,999.00 --- PHP 1,000.00
  • PHP 5,000.00 to PHP 9,999.00 --- PHP 2,000.00
  • PHP 10,000.00 to PHP 14,999.00 --- PHP 3,000.00
  • PHP 15,000.00 and above --- For Discussion
How do I know if my PRE-ORDER is already available?
  • We will promptly update our pages for our newly arrived items. We will also inform you via email or facebook as soon as possible upon the arrival of your orders.

How can I be sure that I will receive my PRE-ORDER?

As long as you have informed us of your intent to PRE-ORDER and have deposited the necessary downpayment, you are already ensured to receive the item. The only reason you might not get a PRE-ORDER are the following:

  • The suppliers are unable to secure us the items themselves.
  • The manufacturer has decided to delay or cancel the release themselves for the item.

In any case, you will be duly informed of any possible delay or cancellation to your pre–orders and your downpayment shall be fully returned to you should it happen that we are not able to fulfill our obligations to you anymore.

Can I cancel my PRE-ORDER after paying the downpayment?

Unfortunately, we cannot do that at the moment. Most pre-orders we offer are on a special basis and we may not be stocking the items ourselves. Once we have placed our orders to our suppliers, we cannot cancel them in the interest of following their company policies as well as in securing a favorable business relationship with them. Please ensure that you are willing to wait for your pre-orders before paying the pre-order downpayment.


How do I place a request?

You may contact us if the item you are looking for is either sold out or unavailable in our website. Placing requests is where a more personalized service comes in.

  • If the item is unreleased, you will be given a quote for your confirmation. Upon confirmation, the corresponding PRE-ORDER deposit must be received before item will be secured.
  • If the item is released, you will be given a quote for your confirmation. Upon confirmation, the FULL payment must be received before item will be secured.

How do I pay for my orders?
  • We currently accept Cash On Delivery (COD) and Bank Deposits.
  • In case of Bank Deposits, charges and other miscellaneous payments must shouldered by the you. If you are uncomfortable with this, we recommend that we do Cash On Delivery / Meetup instead.
  • In case Cash On Delivery or Meetup is not possible and you have us ship you the items instead. You are expected to shoulder the shipping charges incurred.

Upon shipping:

  • Metro Manila shipments take 1-2 days.
  • Provincial shipments take 3-5 days.

These timelines does not include weekends and holidays.

Take note that we take all necessary steps to protect the items during shipping but it will never be foolproof. In case of problems, we can help you resolve it with the courier.

Important:

We have very limited resources that are handling shipping at the moment. If you are not comfortable waiting for your item to be shipped, the best we can offer is do meetup instead.
